MONSOON
In the wet season, the child learns about rain, clouds, sun, rainbow, etc. The child could experience the season and connect it with the concept. Vocabulary Enhancement: rain, sun, clouds, rainbow, raindrops, hot, wet and puddle..

RAINY WEAR
The child learns about the clothes that help us remain dry and comfortable during rains. Vocabulary Enhancement: raincoat, umbrella, gumboots, dry and wet.

RAINY CREATURES
Children love animals and they get to see some special animals / insects during this season like earthworm, snail and frog. Vocabulary Enhancement: earthworm, snail, mud, in, out, frog.

RAINY SEASON FOOD
During this season, we like to eat something hot like corn, hot chocolate, hot milk etc. Children learn about different food items we eat and also experience cooking corn chaat.

I was overjoyed when I discovered the Champak curriculum. The workbook is large and very vibrant. I found that everything was well thought out. He could easily grip the oversized crayons and he liked that there was plenty of space in the workbook for him to do the activities. My son, of course, enjoyed playing with the toys that were included in the kit. I would highly recommend this workbook to all parents.
